Jean Rupani Martin
Jean Rupani Martin 82 of Bulger, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Pathways at The Residence at Willow Lane.
She was born August 21, 1935 in Erie Mine, a daughter of the late Armando (Mando) and Elma Jouret Rupani .
Jean, a homemaker, loved her family and the home she built with her late husband, George. At one time, she had active roles in the Choir and the Ladies Guild at St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Bulger, a woman’s financial group, card club, Red Hats and golf. She enjoyed wonderful friends of many years.
She married George E, Martin Jr. on January 2, 1954 in Our Lady of Lourdes Burgettstown, who died on January 13, 2004.

She is survived by her children Denise (Sam) Corcoran, Gregory L. (Linda) Martin, Sr. and Debra Martin ( Franco Colaizzi); grandmother of Amanda Laverty, Lauren Corcoran (Shane) Emrich, Kelly Corcoran, Marcy Bender, Melissa Smithers, Monica LaRue, Gregory L. Martin, II, and Gwendolyn Corbin; also twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; sister of Charles (Irene) Rupani Sr.; sister-in-law of John F Martin, William Martin and Ruth Skornicka.
Deceased is her twin sister, June E. Rupani.

Friends will be received from 2 – 8 pm Sunday, September 17, in the Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Monday September 18 in St. Ann Church, Bulger with the Rev. Bob Staszewski, pastor, as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann Church, 967 Grant St., Bulger, PA 15019 or Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
